New passenger car registration in 2019 - EU

ACEA announced the provisional figures for new passenger car registration in 2019 for the EU. Overall, the market increased by a marginal 1,2% versus 2018.

Germany, the biggest market in EU, posted a 5% increase compared with the previous year.

Volkswagen remains the European brand with the highest number of vehicles produced 1,7 million, followed by Renault with 1,1 million and by Mercedes with 0,8 million.
